Students in the grade 8 science class have been learning about density and buoyancy, and they are putting their understanding to the test! Groups are working hard on constructing a boat of their design and using numerous materials, are trying to construct boats that can handle a good amount of weight and will not sink or capsize. These will be tested in the next couple of days… we shall see if their understanding of the scientific concepts being covered will sink or swim!
